Sirius School of astrology runs 3 levels of classes - Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. We operate the classes from 2 venues at Riverwood (Sydney) and Springwood (Blue Mountains)

2013 Class/Workshop dates and topics for astrology classes at Riverwood (Sydney). Classes are held on the first FULL weekend of the month March - November (except public holidays).

Introducing our Astro Chat - this is a full day of looking at current affairs using advanced techniques. An ideal way to hone your skills and understand why the what is happening. These days will be held at Springwood with the first sheduled for March 2013. Contact Ed or Sherrynne for details.

Exciting news : Sirius School of Astrology will be offering it's course on line from mid 2013. This course will be a fully integrated on line learning expereince teaching from the very basics through to Advanced. As with all Sirius courses, this course will give you everything you need to get the FAA diploma.

Calculation workshop (subject to demand)

This workshop covers all facets of calculating and progressing a  chart. We cover all components necessary for those who wish to sit for the FAA calculation exam in August. $180 for both days or $100 for one. Pre bookings are essential.

Natal Calculation
This class covers the basic techniques of calculating a natal horoscope. At the end of this workshop, students have the basic skills and information to draw up a horoscope for any time and place on the globe. Use of the ephemeris and Book of Tables is included. 

Advanced Calculation
This class covers the dynamic techniques of calculating a moving horoscope. In this class we cover, progressions, Solar Arcs, transits etc.

Advanced Classes TBA 

Advanced classes will alternate between Springwood and Riverwood. These workshops cover the subjects needed for the Advanced Techniques module of the FAA exams, towards achieving the FAA Diploma in Astrology. All Advanced workshops are open to all students who have completed the basic course. Bookings are essential and placements need to be booked at least 7 days in advance .

Workshop topics are covered over a 2 year rotation

some of the topics covered are

Cosmobiology - understanding the basics of this wonderful tool. Midpoints, midpoint trees, Solar arcs etc. We will also be looking at the 'extra points' that can be used such as Vx, EP, asteroids and hypothetical planets.

Mundane astrology - The most fascinating use of astrology. Learn how the cycles impact on us all through the 'group energy'. How to predict for countries, leaders and 'the people', covering politics, weather, financial,etc . Incorporating Eclipses

Astrocartography and Local Space, You know the when but what about the where. This workshop teaches how to find where in the world you will be most successful, happy, loved. We also look at how to plan your living or work space for maximum harmony and peace.

Astro-history; long term cycles through man's history,

Health and the Horoscope, looking at both ancient and modern approaches to health and well being using the horoscope.
